the pretty plates
i can find no issues. i think they are ready to go! they are finished in gold, with a very pretty lustery celedon green frame and are hand painted. the are also interesting in that they have a very subtle faceted border that you can see in image 3, where you can get a really good detail of the lusterware finish as well. pretty, traditional, provincial dishes by the belarus company dobrush (you can ready more about them below). there is a kind of nice extra finish where each cluster of flowers has a single leaf of gold. a little bit oddly, one of them has no maker’s mark, but is clearly part of the set. each plate (identical in size) is 7″ in diameter with a rim that is 3/4″ away from the surface on which the plate rests.

the creation of a porcelain factory in dobrush became a landmark event not only for the city itself, but also for the entire gomel region. the decision to build the enterprise was made not long ago – in 1975. the first batch of products at this plant was manufactured in the last days of December 1978.
in the 90s the enterprise was privatized and received its modern name – dobrush porcelain factory cjsc. today it is the largest producer of china in belarus and in eastern europe as a whole. the company’s products are quite popular in several countries, including russia. nowadays, around 1, 000 people work at the dobrush factory.
in recent years, the dobrush porcelain factory has been actively engaged in the technical modernization of its equipment, which allows it to look to the future more confidently. the competitiveness of the company’s products is constantly growing due to the following qualities:
