    • Silvertip is one of the most expensive types of badger hair, and is from hair found only on the animal’s muzzle and neck area.  It is highly prized and offers excellent water retention and very soft tips, yet with a good backbone.  Many companies sell bleached ‘super’ badger hair as Silvertip.  Ours is unbleached, authentic, and left with its naturally off-white color.
